As 2018 comes to an end and 2amigos closes the door on its sixth year of operations, it's time to reflect on all that we've achieved this year.
We grew as an organization this past year while continuing our commitment to flexible work locations. Some of our associates worked from home (roughly a third), while others worked in an office. Still others, including one of our founders, worked and travelled throughout the year.
You might be asking why isn't 2amigos 100% remote? The organization could be quite easily. However, (and this is my opinion only) one of the great qualities of 2amigos' leadership culture is the recognition that what works for one person, i.e. remote work, doesn't necessarily work for all — hence the commitment to flexibility.
The commitment to flexibility also brings other qualities into the mix, such as curiosity and a willingness to explore alternative paths.
These aspects of 2amigos — flexibility, curiosity, and a willingness to travel a different road — make working with this team of talented people so much fun.
When I think about 2019, I'm excited about the opportunities for additional growth and learning. 2amigos is heading into its seventh year more focused, more organized, and completely ready to "knock the ball out of the park" for its customers.
